The steps of upgrade project of Hlaing Thaya Park at the side of Meiktila-Myingyan Road in Mahlaing Township, Mandalay Region are being implemented starting from 23 January, according to the Township Development Committee.

The upgrade project is being implemented with K 114 million by Thu Naing Aung Company which won the tender. There will be water fountain, garden and plant shops and restaurants. In addition, gym, body fitness center, futsal stadium and sporting goods stores will also be permitted to open in the park. Furthermore, public toilets will be constructed in the park.
