A ceremony to hand over a new school building at No. 5 Basic Education Post-Primary School in Nyaung Shwe, Taunggyi District, Shan State (South) was held at the school this morning.
First, Shan State Minister for Intha Ethnic Affairs Dr. Tun Hlaing, MP U Khin Maung Win of Shan State Hluttaw, an official from the State Education Officer’s Office and officials formally cut the ceremonial ribbon.
Then, the State Minister for Intha Ethnic Affairs and officials sprinkled the scented water on the signboard of the school and looked around the school building.
Then, the State Minister for Intha Ethnic Affairs, MP of Shan State Hluttaw, Director from the State Education Officer’s Office and Deputy Township Administrator respectively gave remarks and Head of the school clarified the history of the school.
Next, a responsible person of the construction company handed over proper documents relating to the new facility to the State Education Officer. Afterwards, a member of the school development committee U Phyo Aung spoke words of thanks to the officials. Finally the State Minister for Intha Ethnic Affairs presented awards to the exceptional students.
