An inauguration ceremony for rural ten electrification facilities was held in Danubyu Township, Ayeyawady Region on 25 January.
First, Deputy Speaker of Ayeyawady Regional Parliament U San Htwe, Township Administrator U Kyaw Kyaw Oo, an official from the Electricity Supply Enterprise and village officials opened the rural electrification structures by cutting a ceremonial ribbon. Next, the regional parliament deputy speaker delivered an address and the township administrator explained matters relating to the rural electrification facility. Afterwards, an official from the ESE shared knowledge about the risks of electricity.
A village official expressed words of gratitude, saying local people thank the government for providing electricity round the clock. Socioeconomic status of local people will improve, he added.—Htet Wai Phyo
