With the aims of heat protection and environmental greening, Pwintbyu Township Dry Zone Greening Department is arranging to plant a total of 90,511 shady trees in 2019-2020 FY, according to an official from the Township Dry Zone Greening Department.
The Department is annually planting shady seedlings dividing into five plantations. In addition, awareness discussion on environmental greening is being conducted and distribution of advanced cook stoves to reduce deforestation is being undertaken. The department is being made to plant shady trees in a target date.
