With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans for emerald green project were dispensed to members of village emerald green project at the hall of Gwaybin Village in Budalin Township, Sagaing Region yesterday. The disbursement of loans is the sixth of its kind in the village.
First of all, Chairman of the township management committee U Kyaw Moe Lwin delivered an opening speech and staff officer of the township Department of Rural Development U Tun Tun Win clarified the purpose of the project and explained rules and procedures of the project to be abode by rural people.
Then, Chairman of the township management committee U Kyaw Moe Lwin disbursed K 4.64 million to 133 members of village emerald green project in the village.
Also present on the occasion were Chairman of the township management committee U Kyaw Moe Lwin, staff officer of the township DRD U Tun Tun Win, village Administrators and members of village emerald green project committee.—Phoe Kha, IPRD
