In order to help schoolchildren and government staff better understand basic computer knowledge, a basic computer course run by the township Information and Public Relations Department and “Panpyo Let” computer group was concluded at the community center in the town of Pauk, Pauk township, Magway region yesterday morning.

At the event, the regional Hluttaw MP Daw Myint San made opening remarks. Then, Daw Ohnmar Kyaw, the head of the township IPRD said that they will try their best to open advanced computer courses as human resources development is vital for the development of the country. Then, a computer course instructor explained the aim of the course. Afterwards, two computer trainees, acting on behalf of the trainees, spoke words of thanks before the trainees receiving the certificates of completion. 

A total of 130 trainees attended the one-month course that started on 3rd December. The course concentrated on how to use Microsoft office Excel, Microsoft office power point and adobe PageMaker tools. After the event, staff from the township IPRD spread message to mark the 73rd Union Day and handouts about the 105 anniversary of Bogyoke Aung San’s birthday.—Nyan Toe (Pauk)
