The launching ceremony of a rural electrification facility was held in Kyauk Siskan Village, Kyaukpadaung Township in Mandalay Region yesterday evening.
The rural electrification structure was formally opened by the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Shwe Ko, Amyotha Hluttaw Representative U Kyaw Toke, Regional Lawmaker U Aye Khaing, Township Administrator U Soe Min, and an official from the Electricity Supply Enterprise by cutting a ceremonial ribbon. First, the legislators delivered addresses and the township administrator gave a congratulatory speech. Next, officials from ESE clarified matters relating to the transformer and explained the risks of electricity.
The transformer distributes electricity to 2,034 residents from 424 households in the village, thereby contributing to improving their education, health and economic standards. –Nay Aung (IPRD)
