A ceremony to provide cash aid to pregnant women and children below two years old was held at the village hall in Nywetaung, Dimawso Township, Kayah State this morning.

First of all, Minister for Ministry of Kayah State Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Boss Ko delivered an opening speech and explained matters relating to financial aid for pregnant women and children in the township.

Then, Minister for Ministry of Kayah State Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Boss Ko, the state Hluttaw Representative U Se Re Thein Aung and officials provided cash aid to pregnant women and children below two years old in the township. 

Afterwards, staff from Nywetaung Rural Clinic provided free medical treatment to pregnant women and children below two years old.

Altogether 484 people including 243 pregnant women and 241 children below two years old in the Township received cash assistance.—U Ri Re (Dimawso)
