Matupi, 12 February

A ceremony to mark Myanmar Children’s Day took place at the hall of Bungtla in the town of Matupi, Chin State this morning.

First of all, the Township Administrator U Aung Myint Kyaw delivered an opening speech. Afterwards, pre-primary school children from pre-primary schools in the town performed a dance.

This was followed by the presentation of awards to children by the township Administrator U Aung Myint Kyaw and Chairperson of the township Maternal and Child Welfare Association Daw Mu Mu Than.

Departmental officials, teachers of pre-primary schools, children and locals attended the event.—Salai Aung, IPRD
