The Bailey Bridge which links Nanpon village and Shwenit village and Tarkyae Creek Bailey Bridge in Banmauk Township, Sagaing Reigon will be inaugurated.

The two bridges were constructed with funds of two mining companies and contributions of local residents. Construction of No.1 Bailey Bridge which is 800 ft in length, 12 ft in width was started on 12 December 2019 and it has been completed on 2 February this year. The estimated amount of the bridge is over 60 million.

The No.2 Bailey Bridge was constructed on 15 December 2019 and it has been completed on 12 February. The cost of the bridge which is 100 ft in length and 12 ft in width is over K 80 million.

Upon completion, the two bridges will bring safe and convenient transportation to local people at all seasons.
