A ceremony to disburse loans to members of village emerald green project committee was held at the office of Department of Rural Development in Kyunsu, Myeik District, Tanintharyi Region this morning. The disbursement of loans is the fifth of its kind in the village.

At the event, officials from the township GAD and Department of Livestock Breeding and Veterinary delivered speeches. Next, an official from DRD clarified the purpose of the project and and explained rules and procedures of the project to be followed by members of village emerald green project committee.

Then, staff officer of DRD dispensed K 30.0 million to members of village emerald green project committee in Mayanchaung Village in the township.—Sithura Aung
