Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank in Monywa Township received 71.52 percent of all agricultural loans disbursed by the bank, according to Township Manager of ADB U Bo Soe.

In 2019, Monywa Township ADB disbursed a total of over K 2873 million for 27845 acres of farmland and officials from the bank are collecting the agricultural loans starting from 1 January. It is expected that all the agricultural loans will be received at the end of March. There is no one who fails to return their loans to the bank, he added.

Until 24 February, 5240 farmers from 49 village-tracts in the township have paid a total of K 2055 million of agricultural loans to the bank. Others are paying their loans to the bank.
