The launching ceremonies of rural electrification facilities were held in separate locations in Kyaukpadaung Township, Mandalay Region on 25 February.

An inauguration event of a rural electrification structure took place in Kyigon Village at about 4 p.m. yesterday, with Regional Lawmaker U Aye Khaing delivering an address. Next, an official from the Electricity Supply Enterprise shared knowledge about the risks of power and the village administrator spoke words of thanks. A similar ceremony was held in Htantawgyi Village later on the same day.

Also present on the events were officials and staff from the General Administration Department, the ESE, village elders and residents.—Nay Aung (IPRD)
