Officials from the Department of Rural Development made an inspection tour to Thandaygon Village, Thegon Township in Bago Region over the implementation of rural water supply task and related works.
    

The rural water supply task and related works are being carried out in the village to ensure availability of sufficient water for rural people in summer. The DRD officials called for timely completion of the task ahead of schedule, meeting the set standard.
    

A tube-well measuring 400 ft. in deep, four inch wide plus a water treatment plant and a brick tank capable of storing 2000 gallons of water are being built with Ks. 12.8 million and all projects are scheduled to complete ahead of summer.—Nyein Thu
