A natural disaster management course kicked off at the meeting room of the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region this morning.
On the occasion, Chairman of the township management committee Township Administrator U Tun Thein Aung delivered an address. Next, an official from the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department explained the purpose of the training course and a trainee spoke words of thanks.
The five-day training course opened with the aim of dealing with natural disasters in a rapid manner if the disaster occurs in the area is being attended by 20 trainees from 17 villages in the township.—Ye Win Naing (NyaungU)
