A ceremony to open a vocational sewing course was held in the town of Kani, Yinmabin District, Sagaing Region yesterday.

The course was organized by the township Department of Rural Development under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation.

At the event, the region Hluttaw Representative U Shwin Htay and the township Administrator U Thike Soe Tun delivered speeches. Then, staff officer of the township DRD U Bo San clarified the aim of the course.

The one-month training course which will run from March 10 to April 9 is being attended by 12 trainees.—Khin Win Kyi, IPRD
