The construction work of a tower clock was now fully completed in the town of Lailinpi, Mindat district, Chin state.
The tower clock was constructed by a company which won the contract to build it. Chin state Development Affairs committee spent K 24.25 million on the project. Chin traditional signs are still to be carved on the four walls of the tower clock.
Solar panels have been installed around the tower clock to emit light at nights. When decoration works completed, the tower clock will serve as the landmark of the town.—Ko Lein (IPRD)
