Myanmar Red Cross Society provided relief items to people whose homes were damaged by strong winds in Htilin Township, Gangaw District, Magway Region yesterday.

Staff from the township General Administration Department, the Township Red Cross Society, Social Organizations paid a domiciliary visit to the homes of strong winds victims in the township and provided tarpaulins, mosquito-nets and blankets to them.

Powerful winds hit wards-2 in the town of Htilin, Htanbingon, Ponna and Htalin villages in Htilin Township on 6 May and damaged 22 houses including religious building and schools.—Aung Si, IPRD
