Flood victims from six households whose houses became relocated due to riverbank erosion of the Chindwin River were furnished with cash and kind by the Department of Disaster Management.

The event to provide cash and kind to the victims from Aungbancaung Village was held at the office of General Administration Department in Yesagyo Township, Magway Region on 15 May. Officials from the DDM and GAD supplied Ks. 667,200 to 32 victims from six households for purchasing construction materials and rice through a village administrator.—Ngwe Ngwe Aung (IPRD)
