A total of 398 Myanmar migrant workers returned home on 25 June through No. 2 Friendship Border Bridge in Myawady Town in Kayin State, bordering with Thailand.


All of them came back home in their own arrangements with the permission of Myanmar embassy in the Kingdom. 


Kayin State Hluttaw MP U Thant Zin Aung and local officials helped the returnees with medical tests and other supplies. 


The number of migrant workers who returned home from abroad through this border has been 34,390 until now. 


The latest group of returnees included 240 males and 158 females from different regions and states.
