Hlaingthaya, 26 June

A ceremony to provide social pension to senior citizens above 85 years old was held at the Dhamayone of ward-10 in Hlaingthayan Township, Yagon Region yesterday.

Under this cash aid program, elderly people who are eligible for social pension in the township received K 60000 each including social pension and additional cash aid amid the outbreak of COVID-19.

Also present on the occasion were MP U Myat Min Thu of No. 2 constituency of regional Hluttaw, ward Administrators, members of the township Women’s Affairs Association and Maternal and Child Welfare Association.
