Ten basic education schools in Nyaung-U Township, Mandalay Region will be upgraded in 2020-2021 academic year, according to Nyaung-U Township Education Officer’s Office.

A basic post-primary school will be upgraded to primary school (Branch), seven primary schools will be promoted to post-primary schools, and two self-reliant schools will be upgraded to primary schools (Branch). There are a total of 219 basic schools in Nyaung-U Township.
