The second batch of Chinese construction workers were allowed to enter Myanmar through Chinshwehaw border checkpoint in Kokang Self-administered Zone in Northern Shan State on 2 July.
    

11 Chinese engineers from Yunnan Sunny Road & Bridge Co Ltd would assist Myanmar counterparts in construction of Kunlong Bridge over the Thanlwin River. The also brought construction materials and heavy machineries to be used in the construction project. They were welcomed by Deputy Administrator of Kunlong Township U Aung Phone Myint, Assistant Director of Special Bridge Group-4 U Thura Thant, Administrator of Chinshwehaw Township U Thet Oo Paing and concerned officials at the border bridge.
    

Construction of Kunlong Bridge would take about three years. The 286 meters long bridge will be of PC Box Girder type and is expected to withstand 75 tons of weight.
