Some households from Kyun Thit Ashae Village, Chauk Township in Magway Region became relocated due to floodwaters from the Ayeyawady River.
The flood victims moved to Myohla Anauk Village on 30 July and were provided with food supplies by officials from the Department of Disaster Management. A group of local authorities led by Township Administrator U Kyaw Swe Win, Commander of the township police force Police Major Soe Soe gave words of encouragement and furnished K 619,500 for 295 flood victims at the rate of K 2100 per person.
According to the observations at 6 a.m. today, the water level of Ayeyawady River reached 1,366 centimeters, 34 centimeters under its danger mark.
