A ceremony to hand over funds of Emerald Green Project to members of Emerald Green Project Committee was held at the hall of Mara Youth Association or Mara Thyutlia Py (MTP) in the town of Lailenpi, Matupi Township, Mindat District, Chin State this morning.

With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, officials from the township Department of Rural Development disbursed K 45.0 million to 147 members of village emerald green project committee in the town of Lailenpi.
