A ceremony to provide garbage trucks to Htilon and Shwegun villages in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State was held at the office of Township Development Committee yesterday.

First, State Minister for Pa’O Ethnic Affairs U Khun Myo Tint gave opening remarks and an official from the Township Development Committee clarified why the garbage trucks were provided. 

With the aim to keep clean and beautify the environment, the two garbage trucks were purchased with K 40 million allotted by funds of Kayin State Government. Then, the officials handed over the trucks to the village administrators.
