A ceremony to provide farmland compensation to owners whose farmlands were confiscated for the construction of road that links Dagon Bridge to Thilawa Industrial Zone was held at the Thanlyin Township General Administration Department this morning.

First, MPs U Nay Lin Aung and U Aung Naing Tun of regional Hluttaw, Township Administrator U Aung Ko Tun gave remarks. Then, the officials provided farmland compensation to 56 farmers for their 154.5 acres of farmland at a rate of K 10 million per acre.
