YANGON International Airport’s Terminal 3 Gate 4 will be closed until the end of August for the extension work at the airport terminal for the convenience of the domestic travellers, according to an announcement released by Yangon Aerodrome Company Limited (YACL), which took over YIA operation and management.
The YIA Terminal 3, Gate 4 has been closed from 4 August to 10 August for the renovation of YIA. The Gate 4 closing dates will be extended up to 31 August because of the delay in the construction process during the rainy season.
During this period, the passengers must use Gates 1, 2 and 3 as the entrance gates. YIA Terminal 3, Gate 4 to close till end of August For the convenience of the airport users, YACL is arranging for building up the roof between the car parking area and Terminal 3 platforms, according to YACL.
If there is any inconvenience for the flight users, the airport authorities will request the passengers to be patient and obey the health rules and regulations adopted by the airport authorities.
