Officials from Moenyo Township Department of Disaster Management under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement made a domiciliary visit to provide relief items to flood victims in Moenyo Township, Tharawady District, Bago Region.

The strong winds hit the township on 14 August caused one house to collapse and roofs of four houses to flip over. Therefore, officials provided K 226,300 of cash aids for purchasing building materials and rice and rescue kits with 16 items to the victims.

On the occasion, MP of Regional Hluttaw, Township Administrator, officials from Township Information and Public Relations Department, Township Police Force, Township Fire Services Department and village administrator were in attendance.
