The Department of Disaster Management under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement provided cash and kind to storm victims from one household in Ahmar Town, Ayeyawady Region on 17 August.
    

Six people from one family became storm victims after gusty winds swept through the area on August 14. Officials from the DDM presented K 100,000 for buying construction materials, K 12,600 for purchasing rice and 16 kinds of relief items to the storm victims.
