A ceremony to open a new courthouse was held in Nogmung Township, Putao District, Kachin State Yesterday.

First of all, Pastors from various churches said an opening prayer and gave blessing for the new office. Next, the state High Court Chief Judge U Tu Ja, Judge of the High Court of Kachin State U Tu Maw, the region Hluttaw Representative U Mabu Dagon, the township Administrator U Pay Phyo Kyaw, Director of Laymyo Nadi construction Company U Chit Paing Lin cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the new office and unveiled the signboard of the office and sprinkled scented water on it.  

At the event, the state High Court Chief Judge U Tu Ja delivered an opening speech. Next, Director of Laymyo Nadi construction Company U Chit Paing Lin explained the construction works of the office. The two-story office measuring 82 ft. in length, 56 ft. in width was built by spending K 223.16 million allocated by the regional government.
