Mong Khet, 1 December

A total of 15 more confirmed COVID-19 positive patients including a Buddhist Monk being received medical treatment starting from November 21 were discharged from hospitals in Mong Khet Township, Shan State (East), after tested negative for the virus in the second round of testing.

But the fifteen will also be put under seven-day home quarantine when they arrive in their native villages in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health.

Out of 160 COVID-19 positive patients, 70 patients have been discharged from hospitals in Mong Khet Township since July 13 this year. 

Meanwhile, there is currently 82 patients in the hospital with COVID-19 in Mong Khet Township.—Township IPRD
