Kyaukse, 1 December

As of 9 am on 1 December, a total of 586 confirmed COVID-19 positive patients have been discharged from hospitals in Kyaukse Township, Mandalay Region after tested negative for the virus in the second round of testing, according to an official from People’s hospital in Kyaukse Township.

Under the supervision of the Township committee on COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment, medical workers carried out vaccination campaign in conjunction with an awareness event in the Township.

Out of 696 COVID-19 positive patients, 586 were discharged from hospitals in Kyaukse Township after receiving medical treatment. 

But 104 patients including 52 men and 52 women deaths were confirmed in the Township. Meanwhile, there are currently six patients including two men and four women in hospital with COVID-19.—Thet Maung
