The 71st anniversary of Chin National Day will be celebrated on a grand scale at the Wammthu Maung Stadium in Haka City, Chin State on 20 February.
The auspicious occasion first emerged from Chin ethnic people who fought against the imperialists British troops in joining hands with the national brethren in Myanmar. The commemoration will be held along with ethnic cultural booths, and government department’s booths. The event will also include sport events, performances of ethnic cultural troupes, and modern music bands.
Any interested people are invited to take part in celebration of the Chin National Day, according to the committee for organizing the event.—IPRD
