Bago Region Chief Minister U Win Thein inspected the construction of Walmyolae Bridge on Yangon-Bago-Mawlamyaing road yesterday.

An official from Special Bridge Construction Team-10 of the Construction Team-3 clarified the salient points of the construction in details. Afterwards, the chief minister said that the region is a crucial one in connecting other regions with states so the roads and bridges in the region are indispensable. He added that the bridge under construction is located on the road to link Yangon-Bago-Mawlamyaing with Thailand. Therefore, the bridge will contribute to smooth and swift commodity flows.
In addition, he also urged the officials to meet the set standard so that it can resist natural disaster and meet the target date.

The bridge which is 210 feet long is being constructed with K 1000 million of Pyidaungsu’s funds by Special Bridge Construction Team-10.
