BASIC and advanced maritime training courses of Tatmadaw (Navy) and the basic and ad­vanced aviation training courses of Tatmadaw (Air) started at the same time in the respec­tive townships on 22 April to develop the knowledge of the young generation during the summer school holidays and to bring forth a future generation of young people with maritime and aviation expertise.

 

Yesterday, the closing event of the basic and advanced mar­itime youth training course 1/2025 was organized at Pob­bathiri Gymnasium in Nay Pyi Taw Command Headquarters with the attendance of Com­mander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Htein Win and other officials.

 

The Commander-in-Chief (Navy) remarked and awarded the outstanding trainees.

 

At noon, the trainees, coaches and officials paid hom­age to the Maravijaya Buddha Image.

 

The youth training course 1/2025 was conducted at 11 train­ing camps with 800 trainees. The training offered various subjects and practical sessions with a naval vessel Mottama.

 

Similarly, the closing event of the basic aviation youth course (advanced level) and the basic aviation youth course (ba­sic level) of the Tatmadaw (Air) was conducted in Nay Pyi Taw, and Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung and relevant officials attended the event.

 

The Commander-in-Chief (Air) remarked and awarded the outstanding trainees.

 

The basic aviation youth course 1/2025 was conducted at 13 training camps with 693 trainees offering different sub­jects, while the advanced avia­tion youth course 1/2025 opened at two training camps with 111 trainees delivering different subjects, including a practical flying session of RC flight and a helicopter. — MNA/KTZH
