The closing ceremony of a basic sewing course took place at a childcare center in Manle Village, Indaw Township in Sagaing Region yesterday.
The vocational training course was conducted by the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation with the aim of increasing family income of the rural women. At the ceremony, Chairman of the township management committee U Thein Tan and the township head of the DRD U Kyaw Naing delivered addresses and presented completion certificates to the trainees.
The 45-day course was attended by 30 trainees from Laungsu, Pyinhtaunggon, Seiktha, Manpha and Manle villages.—Ko Min (Indaw)
