A ceremony to conclude a blue bird scout training course was held at the Lanpyakyal Private School in Kyaukse, Mandalay Region yesterday. The course was conducted with the aim of equipping the youths with a sense of serving public interests.
At the event, founder of the private school Dr. Theingi Than Oo made remarks and member of Mandalay Region Girl Scout Daw Nilar Than and Rector and Dean of History Department in Mandalay University of Foreign Languages Dr. Nyo Nyo Khin clarified the purposes of the course and scout history.
Afterwards, chief of the course of the blue bird scout (Upper Myanmar) Daw Tin Tin Htay gave brooch badges to trainees. A total of 70 students aged between 7 and 11 years old were in attendance, according to the district Information and Public Relations Department.
