Thandaunggyi, October 30

A capability developing training course for women in Thangdaunggyi area was opened on October 28 at Thangdaungthu Women’s office in Thandaunggyi Township in Kayin state.

 
The training course included communication skills for leaders, sex, gender equality, agreement on elimination of all forms of discrimination towards women, self-imposed development for leaders, democracy and women’s participation and public speaking, said Dawn Naw Mar Mar Cho, director of Thandaungthu women group. 

A total of 30 women from wards and nearby villages in Thangdaunggyi town finished the course that came to an end on October 30.
