The third meeting to organize the International Democracy Day 2019 was held at Pyidaungsu Hluttaw building yesterday afternoon.
Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Tun Aung (a) U Tun Tun Hein, in his capacity as the chairman of the steering committee for the event, Amyotha Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Aye Tha Aung as the vice-chairman of the committee, and members of the committee were present at the meeting.
The deputy speaker of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw presided over the coordination meeting, and the deputy speaker of Amyotha Hluttaw discussed preparation of security measures for the event.
The chairmen and the secretaries of respective working committees reported on the progress in their works and the participants at the meeting discussed ongoing works.
The meeting was concluded with the remarks by the deputy speaker of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw. -— MNA
