Correctly opt for good or bad deeds reflecting doers

THE government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar conferred Sasana Nuggaha religious titles on layperson as recognized their contributions to promotion, propagation and purification of the Sasana and existence of the Buddhism for more than 5,000 years of Sasana era.

To be able to flourish the Buddhism, members of the Sangha are obligated to discharge Sasana duties as learning and lecturing Buddhist literature, delivering the preaching of the Lord Buddha and taking meditation. On the other hand, laypersons and all Buddhist people are also responsible for supporting members of the Sangha and those related to the Sasana such as nuns to have easy access to alms, robes, monasteries and medicines as four prerequisites for missionary measures in all arenas.

In fact, well-wishers do not have the power to hamper their generous wills of making donations. Depending on their options, well-wishers may donate alms to members of the Sangha as well as nuns or monasteries and nunneries or fulfil requirements of some significant venues such as homes for the aged, orphanages, schools, hospitals, needy people and so on.

In the religious affairs, contributions of well-wishers are reliable for flourishing of the Buddhism. As such, the government recognizes their activities by conferring the Sasana Nuggaha titles on those donors.

Fading and flourishing of the Sasana are depending on the nature of mundane world, similar to flying of woodpecker. If the government is keen to uplift the Sasana, the Buddhism is sure to develop. Otherwise, the Sasana is likely to disappear or be down.

As noble and generous persons can grasp the chance to develop the Buddhism and perform missionary tasks, conferring Sasana Nuggaha titles on the generous persons and honouring them are sure to be conformed to the 38 kinds of auspiciousness. All Buddhist people and laypersons should strive for coverage of auspiciousness over the country and the people to be free from various tangible and intangible dangers.

Myanmar is a Buddhist country. All Buddhists believe the Kamma in Pali which defines deed; action; job; and work. Kamma reflects deed; action; job; and work of someone. If somebody performs good deeds, they will have to enjoy the fruits of their good deeds as reflection. So, the laypersons who contribute to the flourishing of the Buddhism are sure to receive the great reflection from their performances. GNLM
