Five COVID-19 positive patients who were receiving medical treatment at 100-Bed People’s Hospital in the town of Gangaw, Magway Region were discharged from the hospital yesterday afternoon.
The officials from the hospital urged the patients to follow the instructions guided by the Ministry of Health and Sports and to put themselves under quarantine at their homes.
In Gangaw Township, there are a total of 40 COVID-19 positive patients until December 22 and out of them, 22 patients were discharged from the hospital.
Twelve patients are still receiving medical treatment at the Gangaw District Hospital and other remaining patients are being given medical services at Minywa Station Hospital, according to Gangaw District Department of Public Health.
