With a view to creating job opportunities for rural people, the Department of Rural Development (DRD) under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation conducted a motorcycle repair course in Kani Township, Sagaing Region.

The closing ceremony of the motorcycle repair course took place at the office of the DRD in Kani this morning. At the ceremony, Regional Lawmaker U Tun Tun Win and Township Administrator U Thaik Soe Tun gave speeches. An official from the DRD then explained the purpose of the course and gave gifts to course instructors.

Next, concerned authorities presented completion certificates to the trainees. The one month course was attended by 12 trainees throughout the township.—Khin Win Kyi (IPRD)
