During the monsoon season, Hpa-an reveals its greatest beauty, making it the perfect time to capture stunning photos of its lush valleys and dramatic caves.

 

PEOPLE are taking vacations in Hpa-an, which is rich in natural scenery, according to residents.

 

Generally, in early monsoon months of June and July, many visitors flock to the city to enjoy its beauty, said a resident.

 

“Hpa-an is very beautiful in the early monsoon. When it rains, the weather is cold and all are green. In monsoon, Hpa-an looks the most beautiful and is better to take photos with the valleys and caves. Now, visitors from different locations have visited. Some who want to explore nature visit the city in monsoon,” he said.

 

The majority of visitors come from Yangon, Mandalay and Nay Pyi Taw, and popular tourist destinations in Hpa-an are Kawgun Cave, Rathaepyan Cave, Sadan Cave, Kawkathaung Cave, Bay­innyi Cave, Kya-in Hill, Kawkhameik Bridge, Htuntpataing Lake, Naunglon Valley, Kawtnantha Creek, Phoetakhit Pagoda, Zwekabin viewpoint and Kyauk­kalat Pagoda.
