The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement disbursed social pension to elderly citizens above 85 years of age in Wards and villages in Pobbathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory this morning.
The Department of Social Welfare provides social pension to elderly citizens once every three months in wards and villages in Pobbathiri Township.
A total of K 107,40000 was disbursed to 358 elderly person aged over 85 years in Pobbathiri Township for the months of April, May and June. Officials from the Department of Social Welfare made a domiciliary visit to disburse social pension to elderly people in Wards and villages in the Township and gave K 30000 each to the elderly above 85 years old.—Kan Gyune, Township IPRD
