A multiplier course on taking census and compiling voter’s list took place at Mya Sein Yaung Hall of the basic education high school in Kamaing Town, Kachin State yesterday morning.
On the occasion, the deputy township administrator and the deputy director of the Immigration and Population Department explained matters relating to the training course in details. Next, an official from the district election sub-commission briefed about compilation of basic voter’s list, rules and regulations to be followed by the volunteers, and census and data to be collected by the trainees.
A total of about 100 trainees from the Department of Education and the Department of Health attended the training course.—Zwe Thu Aung (IPRD)
