The sixteenth-day meeting of the Second Amyotha Hluttaw’s eleventh regular session was held yesterday in the Amyotha Hluttaw meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw where asterisk-marked questions were asked and answered and a bill discussed.

Union Minister for Health and Sports Dr. Myint Htwe responded to asterisk-marked questions posed by five Hluttaw representatives.
U Soe Moe of Ayeyawady Region constituency 1, U Kyaw Ni Naing of Shan State Constituency 11, Daw Hla Htay @ Daw Ohn Kyi of Mandalay Region constituency 4 and Dr. Win Myint of Bago Region constituency 11 posed questions on upgrading a Rural Health Centre in Ayeyawady Region Ngapudaw Township, Taunggalay village; additional fund for a sports ground in Shan State Kokang self-administered zone, Laukkai District, Laukkai Township; plan for a traditional medicine clinic organisational structure and building required in Mandalay Region, Kyaukse District, Singaing Township and a plan for 16-bed traditional medicine hospital or traditional medicine clinic Bago Region, Thayawady District, Monyo Township.
The Union Minister also replied to an asterisk-marked question posed by Dr. Zaw Lin Htut of Mon State constituency 9.
Discussion on Boundary Measurement and Demarcation Bill
Following the asterisk-marked question session, U Htay Oo of Yangon Region constituency 2 and U Htein Win of the Ayeyawady Region constituency 4 discussed the Boundary Measurement and Demarcation Bill approved and sent by Amyotha Hluttaw.
The 17th-day meeting of the eleventh regular session of the Second Amyotha Hluttaw will be held on 25 February.
