Paungde, 26 August
In commemoration of International Democracy Day which falls on September 15, essay, poem and painting competitions for high school and middle school level students were held at the Myoma B.E.H.S in the town of Paungde, Bago Region yesterday.
Officials from the Township Education officer’s Office supervised the competitions.
Altogether 149 high school and Middle school level students competed in the competitions, according to the township Education officer’s Office.—Tin Win Zaw, IPRD
