Farmland compensation provided to owners in Tada-U Township

A ceremony to provide farmland compensation to owners whose farmlands were confiscated for construction of Mandalay International Airport in Tada-U Township, Mandalay Region was held at Township Hall on March 22.

 

At the ceremony, Chairman of Tada-U District Farmland Management Committee gave remarks and clarified the previous lists that have been provided with farmland compensation for the construction of airport.

 

Now, the farmland compensation of 575 acres out of 3495 acres of fence of the airport was provided to the owners at a rate of K 2 million per acre of farmland. Then, arrangements are being undertaken to provide farmland compensation for remaining farmlands.
