Festival depicting lives and cultures of national races to be held in Mandalay

With a view to promoting tourism, a festival depicting the lives and cultures of national races will take place from 25 to 30 January at Kyaikkasan Ground in Yangon, according to Myanmar Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association (MEEA).
The event will covers a pageant that will choose a miss as an ambassador of the MEEA in order to promote tourism industry and to preserve traditional culture, said U Thein Swe, advisor of the MEEA.

 

Included in the festival are booths such as traditional culture, lifestyle, utensil, traditional clothing, local handicrafts, Myanma traditional dance troupe and games. 

 

The MEEA was formed in March and registered in July 2018 to ensure business development, to attract foreign investment for sustainable development of ethnic entrepreneurs.—Ei Moh Moh Khaing
